BWR Possum Palace Update
We are thrilled to share the success of the Possum Palace project, a transformative initiative that has significantly enhanced the BWR headquarters. Funded by a generous grant from Bank Australia and sponsorship funds from the Barossa Co-op, the Possum Palace represents a major leap forward in our mission to provide the highest standard of care for our rescued wildlife.
The Possum Palace has introduced eight new, spacious aviaries to our facilities, providing stimulating and comfortable environments for long term residents we are unable to release back into the wild. Its construction was a considerable undertaking, involving support from local businesses and BWR members to get all the aviaries built and furnished for their new possum inhabitants.
