Join the Mob: Become Friend of BWR
Barossa Wildlife Rescue Incorporated (BWR) is a membership organisation. Anyone can apply to become a member!
Types of Membership
Members can be either Active Volunteers or Friends of BWR.
Active Volunteers are directly involved in our operations, including wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and care. There are various roles available, and you will be provided with training, mentoring and support. If you want to volunteer, complete the membership application and select Yes when asked if interested in volunteering. We will send you a separate expression of interest form to fill out.
All our Active Volunteers are required to be members.

Friends of BWR are members because they care about wildlife and want to support our efforts to protect our local wildlife. While not directly involved with our operations, Friends of BWR provide invaluable financial support!
Do you love wildlife, but are unable to actively volunteer with us? Become a member to support us!

Barossa Wildlife Rescue charges membership fees because:
- We are a membership owned and run organisation. Membership fees generate a sense of ownership and responsibility for the organisation.

Annual membership fees are due at the beginning of each financial year (1 July).

Where members join after the beginning of the financial year, their membership fee for their first year of membership will be adjusted in accordance with when they became a member, as outlined below.

| 1 October – 31 December | 75% of full fee |
